Fika is honoured to name Brian Posner as Executive Chair of Fika, effective the 1st of February 2023. Having previously served as the company's non-Executive Chair, Mr Posner will not only serve shareholders as Chair of Fika’s board, but support Fika’s leadership team on the planning and implementation of our strategy.

Mr. Posner has been a private investor since March 2008 and is the founder and Managing Partner of Point Rider Group LLC, a boutique consulting and advisory services firm. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Posner served as the President, Chief Executive Officer and co-Chief Investment Officer of ClearBridge Advisors LLC, a US-domiciled asset management company. Prior to that, Mr. Posner co-founded Hygrove Partners LLC, a private investment fund, in 2000 and served as its Managing Partner for five years. He served as a portfolio manager and an analyst at Fidelity Investments from 1987 to 1996 and, from 1997 to 1999, at Warburg Pincus Asset Management/Credit Suisse Asset Management where he was also co-Chief Investment Officer and Director of Research. Mr. Posner currently serves as a director of Arch Capital Group Ltd.,  is a Charter Trustee at Northwestern University, and is a member of the Advisory Board of Northwestern’s Center for the Study of Diversity and Democracy.  He previously served on numerous public and private company boards including Biogen, Bioverativ (Chair), Sotheby’s, and the AQR Funds (Chair).

Mr. Posner started his journey with Fika in 2019 after meeting our co-Founders Nick and Gareth. Mr. Posner’s unshakable belief in Fika’s mission to mainstream mental fitness drove his progression from investor to advisor to director to non-Exec Chair to Executive Chair. In his words: “Fika presented itself to me as one of those very rare opportunities – not simply because of the power of its platform, the clarity of its mission, and the potential for significant economic returns, but because of the commitment, passion, and integrity of everyone on the Fika team.”

Nick Bennett, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Fika, said: “Brian has become far more than an advisor and Chair - Brian has become a very passionate believer in our mission and a great friend of Fika. We share the news with huge gratitude and all the more certainty about our mission together and our relentless pursuit to succeed. We are excited to work closely with Brian and bring Fika one step closer to creating a world where mainstream mental fitness is an integral part of life. We can't wait to see what the future holds.”
